With over 20 years of hands-on construction experience, Adam is a Red Seal Journeyman tradesperson and seasoned industry leader. Before founding Homestead in 2019, he worked as a quality assurance manager for a major construction firm, overseeing workmanship and ensuring projects were built to the highest standards. Drawing on this extensive background, Adam started Homestead with a clear mission: to deliver client-focused home inspections using state-of-the-art tools and the most intuitive, easy-to-understand reports in the industry.
Since launching the business, Adam has personally inspected thousands of homes across Alberta, always taking time to treat clients like family and help them understand not just what’s in their report, but how to take care of their home for years to come. His practical experience and attention to detail make him a trusted advisor for homebuyers and homeowners alike.
Outside of inspections, Adam proudly served 15 years in the Canadian Army Reserves, retiring as an Officer with 41 Combat Engineer Regiment. He enjoys spending time camping, tackling renovation projects, and cheering on his kids in their local sports leagues.
Adam lives in Cochrane with his wife Mary-Lynne and their two children.
Mary-Lynne is our Client Services Manager and the behind-the-scenes master of all things scheduling, billing and customer relations; keeping everything running smoothly while our inspectors are on site.
With prior experience as a Registered Nurse and Doula, caring for people comes naturally for her. In addition to taking care of their two young children, she makes sure that our clients, realtor partners and subcontractors have everything they need to have the best inspection experience possible.
Outside of work, Mary-Lynne has a passion for animals, especially dogs and horses. She’s active in her community and holds several volunteer roles. She loves meeting new people and will never turn down a chat over an Americano or Chai Tea Latte!
